Our Grading Scales of Used Pianos we collected.

We pay extremely high attention to our quality controls of our pianos, and we are confident about our gradings.

Our grading system is quite strict, so our customers can analyze pianos listed on inventory from their grades.

Grading on each part means as below:


* Body *

Grades Description
A+ Almost new.
A A few scratches, but can be diminished by simple repair and polish.
A- A little bit more than above.
B+ Some scratches (Most of our pianos belong to this grade).
B More scratches than "B+" grade pianos.
C Many scratches and, sometimes flaws on the surface, losing its gloss.
D Serious damage.

Other than above alphabetical grades, you can see "R" on our inventory list About all part, the condition with "R" means "Repaired."
"EA" also means "Exhibited Piano" so almost new. "R" on body means that the pianos are polished and waxed.(example: RAB, RBA, etc.)


* Pin (Tuning Pins) *


Grades Description
A+No rust
AAt least one tuning pin has rust. (Most of our pianos belong to
"A" grade condition.)
B+ More than whole of the pins are covered with red or green rust.


* KEY (Key Board) *

Grades Description
A+No damage
AOne or some white keys (up to 10keys) are slightly chipped and/or
have short thin lines on the surfaces which can be removed by polish.


* SDB(Sound Board) *

Grades Description
A+No damage. *No flaw and scratch on soundboard*
AOne slight flaw or/and scratch on soundboard
B+Visible space between soundboard and Rib.


* ACT (Action) *

Grades Description
A+Almost new
ANeed to be cleaned up.
*Some parts of muffler cloth have become thiner.*
